I miss you both and am so happy to hear from you, was really worried about you all

If I were ever to go postal I know where I would go to do it. Children's Rehabilitative Services and then to Social Services Medicaid office. Though I don't see it happening anytime soon it sure is a tempting thought. On Friday I finally got some sort of result on where to get Cody's supplies. Of course nothing is written in stone yet so I am not going to get my hopes up. This result came from a group of people that can't even fill a Rx correctly so I doubt their abilities in every area these days. Monday a person from IntraMed is supposed to call back to get Cody set up as a client/patient. Now let's see if they can really supply the correct things.
School was canceled on Thursday and Friday due to ice. Ice? Where? It certainly wasn't around the school or our house. The main roads weren't a problem either so I'm wondering why they thought they had to keep the kids out. I could sort of see Thursday as it was really cold and they were calling for it to be much worse than it was but by Friday I thought that everything was fine. Granted there were some icesicles on the trees and people were without power but they wouldn't have closed school like that when I was a kid. Not that I mind Cody being home but he misses enough school as is. Plus I do like having 8 hours off 5 days a week. LOL
Now here are a few things that have made me almost bust a gut laughing over the past few days. Perhaps I am just easily amused or maybe I just really like the irony. There were a good number of people without power the past couple days so across the bottom of the TV screen they were flashing a message. "To report your power outage call 1-800-POWERON" I don't know about you but if my power is out my TV doesn't work. Then I was reminded of going into Burger King a few months ago and seeing a small sign under the menu. "Braille and picture menus available upon request" If you need one of those menus what good would that sign do you? ROFLMAO
Take care,
Aidan

All the best for getting some results - the other name for this time of year is the silly season, as your experience with people on the end of telephones and on the other side of desks shows!
